Downtime yesterday…
Below is a notification sent from our Support Department regarding a server issue that affected some customers this morning.

Evanced Performance Update – 10-11-2010
At approximately 10:30 AM EDT on 10-11-2010 the server “http://evanced.info” was the subject of a Denial of Service (DoS) attack. The data on this server was not breached but performance was impacted. By 5:00 PM EDT the threat was isolated and stopped.
We apologize for the performance impact this attack caused during this time.

The impact of this attack was only experienced by those customers on one particular server. Currently we are in the process of moving to a cloud server, which has more active monitoring tools to notice and correct any issues that may arise. We are currently transitioning all of our old servers to the new server. This is being done at no additional cost to our customers and will provide for a better experience for anyone using Evanced products.
