Auto-Archiving – To Know It Is To Love It.
Both Events and Room Reserve have a really great feature called Auto-Archiving. The feature tells the systems to take old data – events or room reservations – and put it in the archive after a set amount of time.
Benefits Include:
- Staff don’t need to spend time individually archiving events or reservations
- Library users and staff see a de-cluttered calendar or rooms site that only contains timely, recent data
- The sites load more quickly for both staff and library users
- Events, room reservations, and associated data is still available to the staff by clicking on “View Archive”
