Dear Customers -
We know that many of you have been experiencing server slowness when using your Evanced products hosted by our company. This is a huge inconvenience to you and your library users, and it’s very upsetting to us because we had worked carefully with our hosting providers to correct this same issue last year.
Here is what we know:
- Server slow times seem to be worst at 11:00 AM EST and 2:00 PM EST
- This slowness is impacting all hosted customers, on all products
Here is what you can expect:
- We are adding more server space, so over the course of the next week, you will notice incremental increases in speed
- By this time next week, speed will no longer be an issue
- We’ll keep you posted until the situation is fully resolved
We didn’t anticipate this problem and we are doing everything we can to fix the speed issue.
Thank you for your patience -
The Evanced Support Team
We’ve been trying to find customers who use Events to provide calendars of library events AND community events too. Does your library provide this sort of service for your community? If so, we’d love to see what you do and hear more about how the community submits events for placement on the calendar, and if you have a particular criteria for posting events.
Please share your calendar with us! Email it to Christine Ayar Illichmann at firstname.lastname@example.org!
Looking forward to seeing what you’re doing with Events!
The Evanced Solutions family has been impacted by a tremendous loss, and we know that many customers will also share in our sadness. Larry Woodhouse, a past employee of Evanced Solutions and a member of our customer care and training team for many years, passed away last week.
Many of our customers interacted with Larry through trainings, support emails, and phone calls. Larry was an energetic trainer and a passionate customer advocate.
After a long and brave struggle with oral cancer, Larry passed away early last week. He leaves behind his son Christopher, and his wife Kim Woodhouse, whom many of you know from our Orders and Billing team.
Larry, thank you for your contributions to Evanced and for being more than a co-worker, but also a great friend to all of us.
