Error Messages, Be Gone! Plus Summer Reader Show Off Time

Yes, that’s right, those pesky error messages that some libraries were receiving are now gone.  We worked with our hosting company and tested many different settings, and it seems that we now have the issue resolved.  If you still experience a “500″ or “Error” type message while using Summer Reader, please contact Support at support@evancedsolutions.com and give them all the details – what you were working on, time of day, and a screenshot if possible.

Now, let’s talk about Summer Reading!  I know many of you are ready to start registration, if you haven’t done so already.  Do you have a really amazing Summer Reader site you’ve just been dying to show off?  Showboaters, rejoice!  Here’s your chance!  Post the link to your Summer Reader site in the comments are of this blog post or email it to me at cayar@evancedsolutions.com  I expect to see sheer awesomeness and creativity – just like always!  Entries will be put in to our annual Summer Reader showcase and displayed everywhere for the world to see.

Attention Hosted Customers: Server Busy or 500 Errors

We are currently experiencing server performance issues that may affect your Events, Room Reserve or Summer Reading sites. This issue will present itself as either a “script timeout error”, a “Server busy”, “500″ error or simply an inability to connect to your site from any site link.

We are utilizing all available resources to address this issue as quickly as possible and will post results of our findings here as soon as we can.
