Last week of winter reading is here…

It’s time for the final review challenge of Winter Reading.  I’ll post the random drawing winner tomorrow as well as the voting options for the Point of View Review contest.

For this last challenge  (hopefully) you’ll find this to be an easy one.  We need some affirmation, some love, some kudos.  Pretty please.  After you review your item, will you tell us how our products have helped you?  Those reviews that give us a mention will be put into a random drawing.  If you aren’t a customer, tell us which product you’d like to have and why you think it would be a help to you.

As we have in other weeks, we’ll hold a random drawing that includes anyone who has written a review, whether it has “Evanced kudos” or not.  Then we’ll hold a second drawing for those that refer to Evanced.

Thanks for participating in Winter Reading!!!  One more week left!!!!!

Evanced Solutions to offer Texas Reading Club 2011 Software Templates
Summer Reader banners and themes built especially for Texas Reading Club 2011 make setting up Summer Reader a snap

Indianapolis, IN – January 26, 2011 – Evanced Solutions has teamed up with the Texas State Library and Archives Commission to build downloadable templates based on the graphics for Texas Reading Club 2011 youth and teen programs

The pre-built templates allow libraries using Summer Reader to simply upload designs that incorporate colors and banner images, creating a consistent look and feel for the online reading program and minimizing product set up times.  Texas Reading Club Summer Reader templates will be available to customers the first week of March.

Evanced Solutions offers the same service to customers participating in the Collaborative Summer Library Program and iRead Summer Reading Program and is excited to extend this opportunity to Texas.

Summer Reader helps libraries build reading programs that library patrons can interact with online.  Patrons can log reading times, write online reviews, receive prize notifications, build reading lists, interact with Facebook and more through the product.  Staff can manage book reviews, keep statistics, and accurately award prizes among many other features.

“Our goal has always been to make our products easy to use and to streamline library processes,” explained Rob Cullin, CSO and Vice-President of Evanced Solutions.  “By creating templates based on the Texas Reading Club theme, we’re reducing work load for any library that has our Summer Reader product.”

Headquartered in Indianapolis, Indiana, Evanced Solutions offers software and dedicated service for libraries of all types and budgets. Online tools include event calendaring with online registration (Events), meeting room booking (Room Reserve), summer reading management (Summer Reader), and library materials vending (BranchAnywhere) all designed to better attract and engage the communities libraries serve.
