National Hispanic Heritage Month is celebrated from September 15-October 15. We’ve created a graphic for use with your Summer Reader site. You might choose to engage the Hispanic community in your area by enabling the Spanish translation of your Summer Reader product and featuring a special Fall reading program highlight Hispanic authors. Or build a Fall reading program that encourages library users to read a book, watch a film, or attend a community event related to Hispanic heritage.
For those of you on the West coast of North America or in Australia – we have an announcement! Beginning next week, we will be offering training during the hours of 7:00 PM – 10:00 PM EST. For those on the West coast, this means you can attend training between 4:00 PM – 7:00 PM PST and means more morning options for Australian customers. These sessions will not happen every evening, but we’ll make sure to schedule them often enough to help customers who need more flexibility in our live training. Of course, this also helps those of you working late library shifts (or who love our software so much you even want to learn about it at home! We know who you are!)
You may have noticed that we’ve been making changes to our training. Below is a description of new training resources we now offer. Our wiki is a continuously growing and changing resource that combines video, documentation and other training materials to build a powerful resource center.
We have four YouTube channels that include videos about our company and products. Our training videos are all less than 10 minutes in length. Is YouTube blocked at your library? Then visit the wiki for another way to view them!
