There’s something really fun about watching DJs mix music. There is a certain craft to how they take certain elements of music and combine them into new creations. Plus, let’s face it, the head phones look really neat.
When customers do interesting things with our products, whether it’s creating mashups, reinventing the customer side of the software, or using widgets in neat ways, we get excited. We recently had an email from the Sacramento Public Library and they’ve integrated Events into their website in a fun way. The “front” or public-side, looks totally different – but it’s still using our Events product in the background.

Evanced Solutions will be hosting a webinar on Wednesday, June 2, 2010 at 2:00 PM EST to introduce its newest product, BranchAnywhere. This robot-powered library materials vending solution was previewed in March 2010 at the Public Library Association Annual Conference in Portland, Oregon. Conference attendees discussed the product with Evanced co-founders Todd Cutler and Rob Cullin and suggested features, improvements, and additions for BranchAnywhere. Suggestions were then integrated into the newest iteration of the machine.http://tinyurl.com/branchanywhere.
The half hour webinar will allow those with interest in BranchAnywhere to preview the product before its official launch at the American Library Association Annual Conference in Washington, D.C. this June. Attendees can ask questions, find out about new features, and discuss the potential uses of the product. More information can be found at:

At PLA 2010 in Portland, many of you had a chance to see a prototype of BranchAnywhere, our library materials vending solution. We have since received many suggestions, ideas, and questions and have incorporated changes into the machine that you asked for! At ALA Annual Conference this June, we’ll be revealing BranchAnywhere.
